Preach the Word |
|
"Preach the word;
be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and
encourage- with great patience and careful instruction.' |
|
The time is coming when: |
|
"...people will not
put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires,
they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say
what their itching ears want to hear." |
|
Paul is nearing his
time of departure. |
"For I am already
being poured out like a drink offering, and the time
for my departure is near." |
|
There was a crown
of righteousness in store for Paul. |
|
He longed for his departure. |
|
Paul wrote this in Colossians
1:23b. |
"This is the gospel
that you heard and
that has been
proclaimed to
every creature under
heaven, and of
which I, Paul, have
become a servant."
|
|
Paul was not the only one preaching,
but he was an important servant. |
