Why did Jesus die on the cross?
Sin separates us from God.
"Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name
under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
(Acts 4:12)
"But, God demonstrates his own love for us
in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since
we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we
be saved from God's wrath through him!"
(Romans 5:8,9)
"
Who, being in very nature God, did not
consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made
himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made
in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he
humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a
cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the
name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every
knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and
every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father."
(Philippians 2:6-11)

Why do people sin and forget about God?
Some do not want to serve God.
Some let spiritual weeds keep them from God. (II Peter
2:20)
Some just do not know God.
How do I be brave?
Build your faith through knowing the Word of God.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in
righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped
for every good work."
(II Timothy 3:16,17)
"Submit yourselves, then, to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
(James 4:7)
Read Romans 8:28-39.

How many years did Noah preach before
the ark was built and where in the Bible does it talk about it.
Genesis 6:3...God gave the world 120 years to repent.
Genesis 6:9-10...God called Noah. He had three sons, Shem, Ham
and Japheth.
Genesis11:10...2 years after the flood, Shem was 100 years old.
Noah and his family were in the ark 1 year and 10 days.
If Shem was alive when Noah was called, Noah preached no more
than 97 years. If all three of Noah's sons were alive when God
called Noah, he probably did not preach over 80-85 years.
Actually we know for sure is that Noah was a preacher of
righteousness. (II Peter 2:5)

Dear Uncle Noah. "Irene Did Noah put
fish on his ark? No! Only land animals were in the ark. (Genesis
7:14)" But what happened to the fresh water fishes? Did Noah
bring them on board? Cause they would die in salt water and
opposite, wouldn't they?
When Noah took the animals on the ark there was only one body of
water. (Genesis 1:9) All the fish would be fresh water fish. How
we have the difference between fresh water and salt water fish,
I cannot tell you. But, since God created the fish, I suspect he
build fresh and salt into their genes.

Why does God approve of murder of
infants, children, women in the old testament? (example Joshua
and Cannanites, David and Kenites) how can David be a man after
Gods own heart when he murdered so many women and children? why
does God approve of murder?
God does not murder anyone. God is the God of love...and
justice. God had given all the people mentioned above plenty
of time to repent of their wicked ways...and they refused.
There are several issues here:
1. Not every person who was killed was eternally condemned. (For
instance: children who did not know better,)
"Precious in the sight of the LORD is the
death of his saints."
(Psalms 115:16)
2. If left in the basket, bad apples will ruin all the apples.
3. At some point, God just turns the wicked over to do all kinds
of bad things...and they deserve death.
(Romans 1:18-32)

What is the difference between respect
and honor from the Bible? Does one imply the other or not? How
do these affect us with those over us in regards to obedience?
Romans 13 tells us plainly to submit to the ruling
authorities. God sets up nations
and brings down nations. We are not to rebel against
authorities. (Study I Peter 2:13-17) We are to show respect to
all and honor what God has established, but...obedience is something else:
"But Peter and John replied, 'Judge for
yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you
rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have
seen and heard.'"

I started using the NIV because it is much easier to
understand. The KJV is a reliable version of the Bible, but
couched in archaic language.

How many times a week should we meet to
worship?
We are to worship our powerful, majestic, loving God
every day. The New Testament church assembled on Sunday (the day
Jesus was resurrected) to encourage each other.
"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns
and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the
Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in
the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submit to one
another our of reverence for Christ."
(Ephesians 5:19-21)
Any other set time is good, but traditional and is not required.

some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one
another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching."

I grew up in a church that offered The
Lord's Supper every week. The church we attend now only offers
it once a month. Should our family (my husband, myself and my
child) have our own Lord's Supper in our home each week it is
not offered at church. What are your thoughts?
The issue is not whether you and your family should
have your own Lord's supper in your home. It is that you are
attending a church that is no longer following the New Testament
pattern for worship.
A feast to Remember
I would suggest it would be good for your family to privately
evaluate the church you are attending through our study of the
church. Remember this is a private family issue. Do not make
this an issue until your are convinced from your study that it
is Biblical to take the Lord's Supper weekly.

Do animals go to heaven?
Animals are designed to glorify God in their
creative design, function and beauty. They are useful as food,
companionship, delight and service to man.
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible

seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are

Are you aware that the true Shabbat day
is not on Sunday, never has been and it never will be. It was in
fact the Roman Empire and the Universal Catholic Church back in
325 AD/CE that changed the true Shabbat Day, and it is the day
of the L-rd. Even Yeshua/Jesus told us all to keep the Shabbat
Day and he also stated that he is L-rd of the Shabbat. He rose
from dead on the third day not on Sunday, but Saturday, and was
crucified on the 14th of Nisan which was on a Wednesday over
2,000 years ago. Making Yeshua/Jesus the L-rd of the Shabbat. It
starts at sunset Friday and ends at sunset Saturday. Are you
also aware that there are (7) strict feast days to be kept
forever and that one is coming up on the 8th of April 2009 and
it is to be kept for 7 days of unleaven bread by everyone? Well
it is, both the Jews and the Gentiles are to keep this day. May
I suggest that you read Exodus 12:1-50. Thank you for your time.
The Mosaic law was for the Jews only. The Sabbath was
part of the Mosaic Law...which was fulfilled in the sacrifice of
Jesus. (Hebrews 8:13) Jesus was raised on the first day of the
week (Sunday). You are right in saying Sunday is not the true
Sabbath. The physical Sabbath no longer exists. Hebrews 4 talks
about a spiritual rest for the people of God (Christians).
Why are you saying that the Old
Covenant was set aside and done away with? For it was not.
Yeshua/Jesus said not 1 yod or stroke would be removed from the
law (torah) till all things thay were to be fulfilled what the
prophets said were fulfilled. Are you aware that both the old
and the new testament are one? Are you also ware that GOD has
never done away with the Old Covenant and neither did Yeshua/Jesus?
We were all saved from the curse of the law, however the law of
the old Covenant is still in effect till this day. Please reread
the Bible? For you are telling untruths to others on your
website. I read more than one Complete Bible and I would suggest
that you check out David H. Stern's Complete Jewish Bible! And I
am pointing out biblical facts period. I would suggest that you
go back and read scripture again, for it is in there. The old
covenant will be held forever and Yeshua/Jesus ever said this
too. Thank you for your time.
The key to your premise is the word fulfilled.
Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic law! (Hebrews 8) The Perfect
sacrifice for sin (Jesus) made all other sacrifices obsolete.
(Hebrews 10:18) Oops! Another part of the Mosaic Law is gone.
The Old and New Testament are not one. The New Testament is
described as a will.(Hebrews 9:16) A will comes into affect when
the person who wrote the will dies. Any other will (testament)
is made void...and is no longer binding.
But, they are connected in the sense that the Old Testament is a
shadow of the New, (Hebrews 10:1) and it is a teacher (Romans
15:4) that warns of things not to do. (I Corinthians 10:11)
Even after the Mosaic Law is fulfilled and made obsolete, you
are right in saying the curse of the law is still with
us. The curse is believing that anything other than the
blood of Jesus can save us from our sins.

What happens to us immediately
after we die?
It is important to be in Christ. After we die there are only 2
options:
1. In Christ...Heaven
2. Not in Christ...Hell
What happens immediately is of no consequence. There is not
changing the options.
Jesus said the thief would be with him in Paradise. It is
unclear exactly what Paradise is, but it is a place where souls
wait for judgment.
Those who do not believe go to a place of torment.

deadline. A good subject is that the Bible is not just a book of
exciting stories, it is the history of the love of God...and his
plan to save man from sin.

If a person pretends to speak in
tongues, are they doing right.
If you pretend, you are a hypocrite. A hypocrite is an actor,
playing a part. So you are doing a lie.
There is a lot of misunderstanding about speaking in tongues.
The second issue you have is that unless you spoke a specific
language without learning that language, you were not speaking
in tongues.
Speaking in tongues had a specific purpose in the New
Testament...and the purpose was fulfilled before the end of the
first century.

Is the current economic crisis a
punishment from God?
It is a fact that God could solve the problem now...if
He chose to do so. At times he allows things to happen so that
he can get our attention. God allowed the Israelites to be in
slavery in Egypt for hundreds of years before sending
Moses to deliver them.
What is he trying to tell us?
God wants us to trust in Him...not money and things.
"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about
your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what
you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the
body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air;
they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your
heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than
they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the
field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not
even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here
today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much
more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry, saying,
'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we
wear?' For the pagans run after all these things, and your
heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these
things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry
about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day
has enough trouble of its own
(Matthew 6:25-34)
We must work, and let God produce the fruit of our labor.
"He who has been stealing must steal no
longer, but must work, doing something useful with his
own hands, that he may have something to share with those
in need."
(Ephesians 4:28)

Was Charles Darwin a special or
intelligent man? Should we learn about him?
Intelligence does not make a person important or special.
Charles Darwin started out as a preacher and turned against God.
He was not really the father of evolution, but took credit for
it. The only reason to learn about him is to show that knowing
about God is not the same as knowing God.

Where did God come from?
It is difficult for humans to understand God had no beginning or
end. He is a spirit. We can look at things around us and know
that the world was designed. Something designed must have a
designer.

No! Holiness is being set apart. There is a difference

Does it say anywhere in the bible that
we will never be given more hardship, illness or problems than
we can cope with.
"No temptation has seized you except what
is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be
tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he
will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
(I Corinthians 10:17)
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of
those who love him, who have been called according to his
purpose."

"Endure hardship as discipline; God is
treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his
father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes
discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true

on someone else. We choose our slavery.
"What then? Shall we sin
because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! Don't
you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey
him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you
obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death,
or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? But thanks
be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you
wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were
entrusted. You have been set free from sin and have become
slaves to righteousness."

I am so sorry to hear that your Mommy, Dad
and little brother have died. This is surely a huge thing for a
13 year old to grasp. You asked a very valid and intelligent
question about what we actually know from the Bible about those
who are dead. I have listed a few passages and after you read
them note the observations that we can draw from the scriptures.
Passages to read:
Mathew 23:43
