What should we look for in our study of the book of Luke?
Uncle Noah

Luke's purpose was to provide information that Theophilus (a Roman official) could easily check out for himself.
John the baptizer was born for a special purpose.
At just the right time Jesus was born. It was no accident!
The teachings of Jesus were bold and revolutionary, pointing out the difference between religious traditions and truth.
Jesus chose uneducated men to be his apostles.
The common people loved Jesus. Many of the religious leaders hated him.
Jesus knew his purpose in living was to suffer and die.
Nothing could keep him from his purpose!
Jesus was the Son of God!
