Wow!! I was searching the web for ideas for children's lesson topics. My husband and I create family lessons and we with our three children learn that lesson every Sunday. All week we look for ways in our daily lives to apply the lesson. We all get to choose a family activity, like dinner and a movie, just because party, purchase of family DVD, sleds.....Applying weekly Biblical principles wins funding for our activities. We can also choose to give to another family member's cause. I have favorite placed this site. I could use this all year and not repeat a lesson. This is a one stop shop!!!!!

I just a funny story here! It was about how the belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree... makes perfect sense.

Re. "Why Do Bad Things Happen?" My answer to that question is very simple: Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. God Himself explained that the result of sin was much more than physical death. Sin was a "package" that included toil, hardship, pain, and experiencing all the other results that come with sin. I.e., illness and chronic disease (both mental and physical), tangled & unpleasant relationships, financial problems, loss of what we hold dear, feeling the unkindness of spiteful people, physical deterioration. ...we could go on and on. Everything we suffer on earth is part of the "package deal" that came along with SIN.
It sounds like sin is a serious matter! The questions is "What can we do about it?". This is one of the reasons for this site.

It is incredible that you happily use lies as teaching material. Even the more loopy creationists now admit the Paluxy footprints are nothing more than partial dinosaur tracks, and yet here you are churning out any old propaganda in a desperate to attempt to prove your fictional bible.

But, it is easy to make statements like the one above. So, I suggest you give us the names (and writings) of the  loopy creationists that admit the footprints are nothing more than partial dinosaur tracks.
Have you seen the actual tracks? I have been there and seen some of the more obscure prints. If they are partial dinosaur tracks, they are mighty strange dinosaurs. By the way, I wonder why the park rangers would not let me see the more detailed tracks.

But, if you interested in the truth...maybe you will be brave enough to go to our creationevolution.org site and examine more evidence? If you are certain about your position, you will have to accuse over a hundred witnesses...instead of just Uncle Noah.

But, even if you are right about the partial dinosaur prints, the fact that there are dinosaur prints is evidence that evolution is loopy. Maybe you can verify this form me. The last time I checked, the creation theory claims dinosaurs have been extinct for millions of years. How could dinosaur prints survive in a river bed in Texas for millions of years? Even non-loopy normal folk understand that normal erosion would have washed the prints away in just a few centuries.
But, maybe you are right!
If you are right about evolution, you should be able to boldly explain the dinosaur drawings on Incan burial stones.
Maybe your are right about our fictional Bible!
You surely can refute the evidence we have presented for the historical accuracy of the Bible...and the historical guesses of evolution.

Your answers in the Ask Uncle Noah are way too blunt and not very "Christian like" considering you are writing to kids. Answers such as "That's not in the bible." do nothing to teach the kids. Expand your answers!
I appreciate your concern, and maybe you are right! Maybe a better answer would be: It grieves my heart to bring this to your young, inquiring attention, but the stated purpose of Ask Uncle Noah is to answer Bible Questions. In your case, your question is not a Bible question, and in His great wisdom the Spirit of God has not seen fit to include the answer to your non-biblical question in the Holy scriptures.

Has it occurred to anyone who is moderating this website that the views and opinions expressed on here are incredibly biased and completely disregard the evolution theory? Why is it that you have made a website for children to feed them a load of stuff about how their teachers are wrong and that they should believe in the bible. Even if they choose not to believe their teachers it is still an important part of what should be taught and you cannot pass any exams without that knowledge. It is absolutely appalling that you feel it necessary to tell CHILDREN that their teachers are wrong. A better more productive comment would have been something like... "Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but the teachers are employed to teach what the scientists say is truth." Interested to hear your take. Richard

I have searched your site and find it interesting. I just wish their were more sites like yours. Most things I come across on the web want to sell the word of God. I beleive the word of the good book should not be for sell but wrather be for made available to everyone and anyone wanting to know the Good Lord and his word. Thanks for the heads up. There are approximately 4,000 pages in this sight. This is basically a one-man operation, with a great friend who is my technical guru. We encourage folk in the childrensbiblestudy.com family to let us know about broken links. We changed systems and have not found all of them. Most of them are caps/lower case issues. I found another glitch this morning while answering a question.
These links have been checked and seem to be okay. If someone else is have trouble with them, let us know.

You site the flood of Noah's time to explain the extinction of dinosaurs. 1. God sent the animals to the ark so they would not be extinct. 2. Leviathan was mentioned after the flood and Job didn't ask "What's that?" 3. How do you explain drawing of dinosaurs - standing erect - found in the caves of Indians that scientists date only a few hundred years old?
You are right. I failed to communicate the rest of the story clearly. We have much of this information in our websites...and other examples.
The flood was the cause of massive death of dinosaurs...the dinosaur graveyards. The extinction of most of the dinosaurs happened the same way hundreds of other animals became extinct...they simply died out. There are critters that are living today that are just smaller versions of those found in the fossil record.

1. There is no such thing as a good witch. Any witch (warlock) is an evil spirit. Demons and Witches are in the same family. Witchcraft is detestable to God.

What a dangerously inaccurate website. The fact that this is actually aimed at children is truly appalling. Children should be taught to have enquiring minds, to respectfully question and learn in an atmosphere of tolerance and open mindedness. What a terribly impoverished and patently inaccurate view of the universe you are offering them. If this website is intended as a spoof (and I dearly hope that it is), it should be labeled more clearly.

The challenge we face is that most children are not being challenged to consider the evidence of a powerful creator God, love for their neighbors and enemies, the ugliness of sin...and forgiveness of sins found only in Jesus.
God is very open-minded. He gives folk the right to be tolerant of everything that comes along. He also gives folk the choice to be ignorant, depraved...and lost!
Maybe you can enlighten us. Where do you find the principles of goodness, love, forgiveness and peace to pass on to your children?

Do not believe everything you hear about Dinosaurs. Just remember that God made them. And for GOD'S SAKE don't think for yourself. Just believe what is printed in an unreliable translation of a translation of a translation of a heavily edited and carefully selected set of mythology, history, ancient social policy and apocrypha, interpreted for you by those with a vested interest in your comprehension of it.
I assume you are talking about a science manual you have read. Your description does not fit the Bible.

This website wasn't very helpful. I needed an outline of everything after exodus 10 but it only explained up to ten. Please add the others. They are just as important. What about the 10 Commandments in 20???
I don't know what to tell you. The outline covers all the book in 10 statement, and the textual studies of Exodus cover all the book.
